Twilight Zone Tower of Terror- Unlocked

The Tower of Terror is exactly how you would expect.... absolutely terrifying LOL. The attraction, which is based on the popular television series from the late 1950's is so terrifying, that our now teenage (-eek!) daughter still won't go near it after having gone on the attraction at age 10!

The Hollywood Tower Hotel, located inside Disney's Hollywood studios, glows in the distance and seems to have a ghostly, magnetic pull that draws you inside.

Upon "checking in" at the hotel, you feel as if time stood still during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Disney cast members "tell the story" seamlessly throughout the attraction and by the time you enter the unlucky elevator, you really feel as if you are doomed.

What to listen for:

  • Why our teenager won't go back
  • What makes this attraction so terrifying
  • Fast Pass yes or no?
  • Where is the most thrilling seat on the ride
  • The must see movie based on this attraction
  • When and where to take pictures

Pirates of the Caribbean, located at the end of Adventure Land is one of our favorite attractions.

It is a well known "Disney Classic" and a must do at the Magic Kingdom. Believe it or not, the attraction was originally supposed to be walk through wax museum but with the success of Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress at the 1964 New York World's Fair, Walt Disney decided that Audio Animatronics was the best way to have their guests immerse themselves in this fun, pirate story.

There was even a movie inspired by the attraction. Have you heard of it? ;) Be sure to visit the pirate themed gift shop at the end of your experience for some really great keepsakes to take home. Truth be told, Bruce has to drag me out every time."Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates' life for me." Ha!

Things to listen for:

  • Some differences between the attractions in DisneyLand and DisneyWorld
  • The unexpected surprise at the beginning of the ride
  • Fast pass a yes or no?

7 Things we love about Disney's Boardwalk

Disney's Boardwalk is a little tucked away gem. It can be easily overlooked as there is technically no direct transportation to the Boardwalk (tips on how to get there on the show). The ambiance takes you back to a simpler time "the good old days ;) " and there is no better place to go for an evening stroll.

Things we love The Boardwalk at Walt Disney World

  1. Boardwalk atmosphere (especially at night)
  2. Surrey Bike rentals
  3. Boardwalk Bakery
  4. Seashore Sweets
  5. Hotel Exploring
  6. Wyland Galleries
  7. It's Free (bonus)

The do's and don'ts about driving or flying to Disney World

PLease leave a rating and review :)

Bruce and I are constantly torn (argue lol) about whether to fly or drive when headed to Walt Disney World. Both have great pro's but they also come along come with some negatives. On this episode, we discuss our thoughts about driving or flying and hope to help with your decision.

What to listen for:

  • Tips for driving a long distance
  • Why we like driving sometimes over flying
  • The benefits of driving
  • What you loose when you drive
  • The benefits of flying
  • When flying is the best idea for you
  • When driving is the better choice
  • Give us a review :)
